Here we have a rare set of Obey Giant HISTORY.

This OBEY GIANT CURRENCY was produced and made available exclusively for the opening of SHEPARD FAIREY’S 2007 E. PLURIBUS VENOM shows that took place in New York, Los Angeles, and London.

This currency is now OUT OF PRINT and just like everything Shepard does, it became an instant collector’s item.

These pieces were never available in stores and were only distributed to invited guests of the gallery, collectors, and the fans who attended the opening of the shows in London, NYC, and LA back in 2007.

*Additional pieces were also folded and dropped randomly in the streets around New York City in order to help promote the show (most of which were discarded as trash) and the ones that were found and saved were not in MINT CONDITION like these.

THE CURRENCY PROJECT HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED IN THE E. PLURIBUS VENOM SHOW CATALOG AND ALSO APPEARS IN THE UPDATED BLACK VERSION OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND.
